Oven baked fries

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Servings: 4-6


2-3 Tbsp (30-45 mL) Maison Orphée Sunflower Oil for Cooking
1 tsp (5 ml) smoked paprika (optional)
6 red potatoes, scrubbed, unpeeled and quartered (eightpieces cut lengthwise)
Maison Orphée Sea Salt with Aromatic herbs
Pepper to taste


Preheat oven to 200oC (400oF). Place rack in center of oven.

1. In a large bowl, combine oil and smoked paprika. Add potatoes, sea salt and pepper. Mix well to coat the all potatoes.

2. Pour the potatoes on a large baking sheetin a single layer and make sure they do not touch each other.

3. Bake about 20 minutes or until chips are golden brown, turning halfway through cooking with a spatula.

Replace sea salt by Maison Orphée fine sea salt or with herbes de Provence. Replace apple cider vinegar by the same amount of Maison Orphée white wine vinegar. For honey mustard mayonnaise add honey and Maison Orphée Old-fashioned mustard to taste. For a low calorie mayonnaise, add plain Greek yogurt.
